Hygger double quartz heater

Any one use this one before I had high
Hopes for it worked great for an hour . Then the beeping error sensor fault . While the heater is in tank would not heat pull the heater out of tank no more beeping and starts heating . Put in water error I have another coming today for another try at it

I have one and don’t have any issues with it. I’m assuming you got it from Amazon? If that’s the case just return it and get a new one.

Another thought is to verify that the plug you have it going into is properly wired neutral hot and ground.

yes all grounded . got new one in and no problems so far

I've been using 2 of them for about 2 years now with zero issues. They were recommended by @dz6t

I have them on both my tanks. The controller on one failed almost a year to the date. Sent a picture of the blinking unit along with my Amazon receipt to Hygger customer svc and a new one arrived 2 days later. Fortunately, it didn’t get stuck in an on position - but I have redundancy since the heater is plugged into a temperature controlled outlet.

Good morning, I was running the 900w one for over a year with zero issues. I hope you just got a bad one and the one arriving works for you, they are great heaters.

I had one and the controller melted. Good thing I was home. Won’t use Hygger again.

I just wanted to pass along the controller for my hygger heater melted this morning. I’m glad we were home. I smelled melting plastic and realized it was coming from the tank cabinet, I saw the leds were out and there was a melted spot on the controller the heater was still fully submerged and tank was still at the proper temp. It must have just happened.

I purchased this in October and it never got wet, be careful and check this controller if you have one.
