So i have not changed water for a year and finally decided to run ICP test to check on things. Seems like I'm low on a few elements so it probably good time to do a water change finally.

Your potassium level is fine. The others are unimportant or non critical.

Very cool. It is tempting to try out the no-water-change for this time-pressed reefer. Wondering what kinds of corals you are keeping and whether they are doing well, and what your maintenance routine is? There are several essential elements that are very rare (selenium, molybdenum, copper, probably manganese listed above, and others), which are at concentrations that are likely below the accurate detection limit of the ICP method. These unknowable rare elements (plus the unknowable toxins, plus inevitable salt imbalances caused by 2-part) are the reasons I do water changes. Just wondering what you think about these things, and whether you have maintenance or supplements that might address them.

I just monitor ALK, salinity and temperature and dose Aquaforest 123. I lost some frags due to tank is still quit young and not stable.

I grow everything from a frag with exception of a colony of strawberry shortcake below.

By all mean no water change feel riskier and i have to be reactive more than proactive, but i have tried it on my older tank and it just worked for me.

Are you kidding me you did no water change for 1 year????? OMG I do 50 gallons per week man. How that is possible? Do you have fishes? I have about 30 in my total 500 gallon system. I would love to hear from you, Thanks

No change just top off with RODI plus i have issue with low nutrients. I have 2 tangs, 5 anthias, 2 clown, 2 wrasses and 1 leopard wrase. This is just a balling method so nothing fancy. I have oversize skimmer and refigium with kesil light togrow cheato. The tank has been through DINO issue and perhaps i should count that as one water change about half a year ago
