i need help selecting a skimmer

my two choices are the Aquarium Systems Seaclone Protein Skimmer - 100, or the red sea prism protein skimmer.

I have a seaclone, it sucks. But it still seems to work, better than the prism.

neither. the seaclone is horrible and the prism is a PITA to work with. what size tank do you have? you can find a good HOB skimmer if you keep an eye peeled on the sale forum.

Please don't go for the Prizm. I think they make a tank more difficult to run.

I don't know the SeaClone but it has to be better.

Another vote for neither, for you 55? Try an Aqua C Remora or a CPR Back Pak for starters, there's usually some around on the equipment forum.

idk i just didn't want to spend allot of money on the skimmer i dint have many fish i only have 2 clown fish and may be getting a small yellow tang.
