I want to paint the back of my tank...kind of late

I don't know why I did not paint this one when I set it up:o I figured I would do it after but I never got around to it.

If I cover the tank and sump, will it be ok to paint? I am always so nervous with any kind of chemical near the tank...

if you want black get 1/8 black lexan and velcro to back.

I considered that and similar options but I really liked my last tank painted.

Has anyone done this once the tank is running?

I have, get a little hot dog roller and a can of acrylic paint(color of your choice).
Depending on the size of your tank you may not need a extension pole,
I had to use one. A screw in broom handle will work too.

John @ Sea Creatures in N.Prov. sells a vinyl stick on that is great. Once applied no salt creep can get behind it. Takes about 5 minutes to put on & cure.
