Hey, all. I'm Jim from MD, and I've been in the saltwater hobby 13 years. My introduction to saltwater was by way of a coworker with whom I shared an office. He set up a small tank and taught me the basics. From there, he gifted me a used 45g cube, and that was all it took. That grew into a connected closet tank, and later an IM100 (current).
Inappropriate Reefer is a neighbor, and he slowly pulled me into the socials where I've been helping some and frustrating others for quite a while. My socials focus has been on light testing, DIY approaches, truth in advertising, and sampling bottle bacterial products.
I'm a retired USAF aircraft electrician turned pharmaceutical facilities and engineering director.
I've been fortunate enough to meet and speak with a couple BRS members, and as I work my way towards retirement, I look forward to interacting more.
