That was taken with my Canon A80 digital camera. The wife and I are looking into buying a digital camcorder though.

I have a dehumidifier running in the room, sounds a LOT louder in the video. The camera seems to be pretty good/bad at picking up background noise

Yea he just rips up and down the tank all day, he does rest once in a while lodging himself in the rockwork.
