48" blue led moonlight strip by R2 solutions, $50.00 shipped. Anybody kno what this means? or not enough info!

Would this make corals look as cool as actnics do??

And another question.. could a 36" MH / Actnic fixture be used on a 55 G that is 48" long??? i mean if i built a pyramid in the center of the tank fo the corals.... any advice welcomed thank you!

moonlights are for night time viewing as well as helping to keep it as natural as we can for the corals spawning cycles.

the moonlights represent the shimmering effect that the moon has on the tides.this supports proper coral and fish spawning, also looks geat at night.

need to be careful about your center braces melting uner a dual 36" setup...

I think the Lions would kind of like the shadows... i mean i want a good looking setup that gets "ooohs and ahhhhs" but i really need to spend like under a thousand...
Technically the light actually has .. 2 Metal halide bulbs, 2 Compact PC actinic Bulbs and 2 Blue Moonlights .. Im buying this later this week.

And it comes with a hanging kit, but i really did not want to hang it, do to limited spacing.. i have the 55G on a double tank stand, but the 55 is in the bottom part, and the top is like a shelf for supplies.. then directly above that shelf is another 55G that is hanging on my wall... I have 7 Tanks in my room at my house, and i'm beginning to run out of space...This is my first SW, and i want it to be cool looking, and kinda cheap too! i still need alot of supplies like a R/O machine and a couple powerheads n such..
