JeBao RW-20 first impression

I got a JeBao RW-20, the largest Jebao RW series.
1. Looks:
First of all, it is smaller than the WP60 it replaced. It is closer to a WP40 in size (the replacement, RW-15 is smaller like wise).
It looks completely original, no one should confuse it with a Tunze. The internal construction is nothing like Tunze, not even remotely close. So people who think JeBao is a Tunzw knock off can rest their case, forever.

2. Flow:
It feels like 50% stronger than WP60. It push water all the way to the end of the 125 gallon 6 feet tank. Yet the stream is wide.

3. The best part, the wireless controller:
I have the new RW-20 wirelessly linked to a wp60 with wireless controller. To set up the master and slave of both pump took...5 second! (or less). Now both pump are running at Master/Slave mode. You should try out the C mode, just to say...it rocks.

Boys and their toys.....lol

On another note: thanks for the review on these. Im sure their will be lots of questions on these as people start to buy.

These pumps are awesome. I have 2 rw 8's on my 90. One of the motors did fail after about a month but I got a replacement for free. Thumbs up!

The warranty service is great for JeBao pumps. Also, you can buy spare part for dirt cheap.

I also picked up 2 jebao rw15's from LTR and all I can say is holy detritus!!! I can not believe the flow these pumps push. Also so easy to program.

As you all know I had two mp40's that don't even compare to what the Jebao's can do as far as flow and spread of the stream.

I definitely recommend getting these pumps if you are on the fence about buying them.

And yes C mode does rock!

I just got the rw8 today, haven't even got to play with it yet.i posted a pic of the box in my 54 gallon corner build thread

Glad you like the pump Dong! Let us know if you have any issues with it. We provide a one year warranty on these.

Yes I love it and I am going to buy addtional two from you soon.

So Dong, would you recommend 1 or 2 RW-20's for a 6 foot, 125 gal. tank?

If you use the C mode, you need two of them.

Easy to program is the key, I don't even need the manual to figure it out.

I have 1 in my 210 and could def use another . but it does move some water like crazy , I will be getting another soon too . need to concentrate on building my water change station first . been so busy its a huge mess down here lol. The only thing I found so far about it is the magnet could be stronger

Maybe good enough to mix my salt with. Thinking about retiring the Tunze for salt mixing and go with this.

No thanks. I had a couple of WP10 and WP25. They needed to be cleaned every two months, they continually jammed and slowed down, the night sensor stinks. I gave up on them. I'll spend three times more for a Tunze pump that will last 10X longer and I don't have to worry about while I'm on vacation.

Different experience. ... I have been using Jebao pumps for 1 year and never have any of those issues. On the other side, I got two brand new Skimmer Sicce pumps from Red Sea with the impeler broken from factory.

IMO, I been running a wp 60 in my tank for 5 months now with no issues . I absolutely love this pump. I will be getting one more for my 210gallon.

I clean mine every few months anyway nothing you get is maintenance free in this hobby . constantly cleaning , upgrading tuning your system till its perfect I have a WP 40 that I have had for almost 6 mos now and it runs fine . but I also have a couple MP 40's that I love too . I think the Hydors run a close second to these jebao pumps because they have a "softer" flow but still move some water The jebaos move a ton but NEVER aim them at your corals they have really strong flow that will blow the flesh right off em lol

Older Tunze last for a long time because I still have many old 6100 running but I had issues with their newer, aka ball-shaped pump. I had two Tunze power supplies replaced, two magnet with clips broken and a dead pump head.
