Jebao wp10 stopping

So I have noticed recently that my powerhead keeps stopping randomly and gets 'stuck'.

I change the settings, which sometimes gets it going again, but not always.

Anyone else having this problem, or know of a fix?

Does it need a cleaning?

Mine does slow down when it is in need of cleaning.

You can check the connection from the power adaptor to the pump. May be it was loose or got moisture inside?

I have had my wp40 for about 9 months and it started stopping on me so I cleaned it but it happened again so I emailed fish street and they sent me a new unit for shipping costs. just an FYI

Maybe a dead spot developing in the magnet of the motor. If that's the case cleaning is only going to be a temporary opion

I'll try cleaning the insides but it looks pretty clean.

Do you have the contact for fish-street SteelerMike?

If you go to their website there is a contact form and you fill it out and they email you back. Takes a little while due to the time difference but there are pretty responsive. Did you buy it from fish street? If not you may have to contact Jaebo and I have not heard good things about their customer service...

I did it through a group order on here but I think the originating order was fish-street. Hopefully they can help, but if not I will try out Jebao.
