Just a cool summer or is it my new lights. Anyone have heat issues?

So this time last year my tank temp was always pushing the upper limit in 80s.
i was always battling the heat. That was with my MH lights.

Now with the Kessil / T5 combo this year. My tank just fluctuates about 1 1/2 degrees in the 78 a79 range.
My sump fan has not even turned on once this year.

It's hot enough today and this week looks to be more of the same. Should be a good test.
Anyone have any heat issues this year or has it just been that much cooler of a summer?

I have leds with a t5 retro kit also. This week the day that approached 90 and humid my tank hit 80.9. That's the highest my tank has been all season. My tank stays between 77-78 pretty consistently. On some of the hotter days when my house is closed up with ac off while I am at work it will approach 79 but that's about it.

Ohhhh sure , rub it in lol . I am considering changing to led as well . as the summer heat gets hotter the more I think about it . I have a chiller and an AC running to keep the humidity and tank temp down . I unplugged my heaters over a month ago and I maintain 77-78.5 with 6 halides running over the tanks
