Keep an eye on your tank temps

MarkO

...
Will be hot through Thursday. It's these periods of no relief at night that makes for difficulty in maintaining proper tank temps. Good luck!

yikes...from whdh.com....

Wednesday
Dangerously hot! Excessive Heat Warning through 8 PM. Hazy, hot, humid. Heat index values 105-115 possible. Winds: W 10-15 mph. Highs: 96-102!

Went down into the low 60's last night
Felt great this morning
I need a way to air out the basement, it was still 75 down there
It's up to 77 now

2nd AC went on in the bedroom, chilled it down to 74
Ready for the heat!!

Ohhh! A breaker shut off at about noon today, the one that my AC is on. Tank cooking under MH all day W/O AC. System peaked at 85.3.

No distress noted so far. Maybe I'll end up with more anemone splits??

I guess it'll be a rainy day on wednesday for the tank. No light. I'm killing the lights on wednesday.

Tank has not reached over 82.3 since we installed a fan running between open top canopy and tank. also have central air. But they may only get some actinics tommrow. Curent tank temp 77.9 highest today was 79.6.

Yea it will help on the consumption and leave more for those AC units. I have a unit running in the tank viewing room and saw the heaters actually kick on today at 79
