Killed First Aiptasia

Just saw my first Aiptasi in my tank and was so incredibly inraged that I decided to kill it immediatly. I had some lemon juice and kalk mix sitting around and a small container. I mixed some kalk and lemon juice together, got my syringe out and blasted the suckers.

GONE IN SECONDS, then did a nice 20g water change. After a rough week loosing my Powder Blue Tang n first fish I've killed in years, I was so glad to watch the aiptasia dissappear i hope it never comes back.

I had one and only one years ago.
Have never seen another one in 2+ years.
Why did the PB die?

i have no idea.. he was perfectly fine when i left him on tuesday nice n happy fed them a nice bunch of live brine n then came home thurs night n he was dead

Huh,well live brine has like 0 nutritional value.
Was the fish eating nori and other foods?
Perhaps you had a quick power outage.It's always the largest fish that dies first in those cases.

Don't assume it's gone.They are tough sob's,nuke it again in the same spot.
