LFS In Springfield area

yep, aqua dreams. small place that is just jam packed with stuff. right on rte 57 in agawam (feeding hills actually) they close at 5 I believe so if you get there later than that you are SOL. very busy place on the weekends. the owner, Chris I believe his name is? is a pretty good guy and works hard to answer questions. If you want directions let me know!

There open 11-8pm on Thursday

There's also a little tucked away place ca;lled James Tropical Fish. Its on Rt 20 in East Springfield i believe. Its not neary as nice as AquaDreams, but they do have a moderate sized salwater section and some corals.

The couple fish I have gotten from there are still alive 2 years later. They seem to have a pretty clean system for the fish. Never gotten corals there though...

james tropical has gone down hill new owners or at least new family member running it ,very little selection. shame to see it like it is. but in time maybe it will get better they have been slowly improving. chris at aqua dreams is great and will take good care of you. it is definately worth the trip.

Thanks everyone for all the information. I will let you all know how we make out. Always nice to add in a trip to a fish store when traveling...

Iffer, I may end up going to aquadreams tonight myself. I'm starting to stock my tank with some fish (finally) what time would you be there? I would probably be there at ~5.

if you go in there and see a 25 year old guy with his GF wearing a bright red hat with an A on it, then you found me.......
