Lighting Qustion and others

I just a week ago upgraded to Mh lights! Bring on sps!!! i have two 175w singal ended bulbs and two 65w pc actinic. Am i crazy at 480w over a 50g breeder 9.6w per gallon? should i unscrew a bulb? its not a fixture...i built the canopy...it is pictured below...my refug loves my 65wpc some times two 65w bulbs it grows like wild fire any one want some? Also my hippo wont lose ick since the move i am going to the isle in the morning to better test my water. Maby i should post him for trade for a wrasse i want to get my first...

I think you will be fine. I had the same lighting over a 55.

I agree.
I'd just remove the tapestry with the sun on it just in case.
That might put you over the top on lumens.
