Oh so close to filling the tank and I can't get the loc line attached, any tricks? 3/4 and I don't have the tool.:(

Thanks

Rob

line it up straight and quick hit it down with the palm of your hand. if you are using angle pieces or y's i don't know what would work other than the tool.

You folks are going to love this. It is the Y section also.

So I went out to the shed you know how those can be messy at least mine is, took out a c clamp started cranking down on it the threaded section went flying and now I can't find it!!

Oh well you got to laugh...

Thoes things are so hard to muscle on...... Even using the tool. When I was putting my lock-line together ...... I thought I was going to burst a blood vessel in my head.

I always find taking them apart harder than putting them together. I have never had an issue pushing them together by hand as long as the pieces are aligned straight. Has worked with straight, Y, and L pieces no problem. For stubborn pieces, I put one end on the floor and then push the other piece onto it (keep in mind this way REALLY hurts WHEN you slip though).

Found it!

Looks like it sits on the table for the night, perhaps I can will it together using all the brain power of the BRS members here:)

Like diva mentioned a little veggi oil might help.
You could also put the male part in ice water and the female part heat with a blow dryer. The expansion and contraction should help out a lot.And it should slip together much easier.
Good luck.

Hmm I just shattered the Y section, it almost seems like there is a variation in the loc line size. Different vendors perhaps.

wow... thats crazy... i have never had any problem attaching my 4 pieces of it together after cleaning... or adding any evin with coraline on it..

I have two different sizes of loc-line. It's like the ball and socket are deeper on one set than the other.

That stinks! The loc line Rob WAS:rolleyes: using was gnarly compared to any other I've seen.Locally all the tool supply houses' have orange.Blah!
Krystal clear has it and Jay's as well.

Very heavy duty for sure!

Slammed my knuckles into the floor when the y section broke, going to order from MD this morning I'll order everything under the assumption this stuff is a genetic mutation of standard loc-line.:)
