Local Live Rock....where to buy...

Looking to get some live rock next week, say Tuesday. I live in Merrimack, NH (Nashua area), and wanted to see who you might suggest in the NH, North Mass area...Looking for about 50-55Lbs.....I have a 36G Bow.

AquaAddicts in Salem, NH has nice rock at good prices. I think it might be $4.50/pound for 50+ pounds. (I might be off by .50 or so).

I'll second that. Not bad prices and I think you get the first price break at 25#'s. I bought most of my live rock from them when I initially set my 20L.

whoa!!! Considering that I've seen mail order prices and every LFS' prices on live rock from maine to maryland, I'd say AA's prices on live rock are way better than not bad. They're quite good,- excellent considering you can pick out what you're getting.

those are good prices even if it 5 or 5.50 thats still good and you can pick it out thats the best part,when we set up daragons tank went to jeremy's green house i was like a kid in a candy store

It's excellent IMO. The Figi is $4/pound for over 50 pounds, and it's nice stuff. For a little more they also have tonga and Kaelini if you want a few really nice pieces.

Thanks for the input. I plan on doing mostly Fiji, but I would like to add some Tonga too mix it up a little.

Try Sea Creatures in Revere, MA, if you're making it that far south. I know they just got in a bunch of LR in the last week. Also, it's just a great store to visit, and to talk to John, the owner. Now if only we could get them to hand out beers like at AA..., we'd have two excellent LFS' north of Boston!
