Majanos

I have a few of majanos that I just found on some of my zoa corals, I hear that they are filter feeders so I was thinking to remove all the rock that have them on and brake some of the pices to save all of polyps that I can then put the rock on my refugium with the majanos so they could help with my filtration.
Now my question is? Is this a good idea? Will the majanos do well in my refugium withouth give me any problems on my tank? Can I place the pices of corals(fras) back on my tank after all? Thanks.

I'm thinking if you put them any where in you water system they will seed the water and before you know it they will be everywhere. They are great filter feeders but there ugly and a pain in the a*#.

Mojanos = Bad thing! get them out or they will propagate to plague proportions...btw there is not a natural or unnatural way to eliminate them.Out ASAP.

I am taking them out, but I just want to know if I can put them in my refugium to help with my filtration.

Your refugium is tied into the system, they will find their way to your display tank somehow, IMO if you don't want to have an ENTIRE TANK SYSTEM FULL of them, I would get them out ASAP!! If you want something that filter feeds I would stick with feather dusters, prettier and they don't sting other corals like the Mojanos will.
