I used to use IO but now switched to Tropic Marine. Does anyone know how many cups needed for 5 gallons of water? Would I use the same as I did with IO.
Thanks
Kevin

Should be pretty close to the same(1/2 cup per gallon). I would put in 2 cups of salt and test with refractometer and add as needed keeping track.

I use TM pro, it takes 2 cups of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of soda ash (alk), and 1/4 teaspoon of dry calcium additive. That will get you right around 1.026 salinity, 8dkh alk and 420 ppm calcium.
