Mexican Red Leg Hermits......?

Can anyone tell me if they are reef safe? I have a little "hair algea" and I read that they do a great job eating it. My tank is primarily a sps tank with a few lps and softies. Thanks for your help.

My red leg hermits (softy,lps as well) don't bother anything. But mine also did not seem to attack hair algae. The turbo's I added mowed it right down though.

Sally lightfoot crabs work well also.

The down side of the red legs is they eat my snails from time to time.
