MH mogul socket question

A loooong time ago I bought a PFO dual 400 watt ballast and the mogul sockets that went with it.

Since then I've decided on going 250 watt, and purchased a PFO dual 250 watt ballast.

Will those two mogul sockets I got with the 400 watt ballast work with the 250 watt ballast? Or are the bulbs' bases different sized from 250 watt to 400 watt?

Moe, those sockets are good to use with either the 400watt or 250watt bulbs. They share the same socket base.
