Mushroom Coral Rock in a Refugium?

Good afternoon. Haven't had much luck finding an answer out there on this one and thought I post it out to the forum for advice:

Curious of the pros/cons of moving a 6-8" Rock Island covered with with Green/Red Mushrooms & some Green star polyps into to my refugium? (Trigger Systems Ruby 30S)

The only thing in the fuge now is live rock, mud and some sand on top and I'd really like to free up the sand bed to add more interesting stuff. I figure I have 3 options: move it, get rid of it or deal with it

As long as you get enough light in your fife, should be fine. If you decide to get rid of it, let me know, I am a mushroom fan.
