Yes,an alk of 5 dkh with 10 drops on an Elos test would be correct.
Looks like you're going to have to supplement alk and calcium.Maybe just a 2 part additive would work for now.

Very nice Tank!

i have bulk reef supply 2 part, im trying to calculate how much to dose useing their calculator.
i just did my weekly water-change today, i will test tomorrow and post results.....( chances are i'll start dosing tomorrow) then maybe upgrade to an automatic doser?......

thank you very much Renato! :)

alot of corlaine growing, alot of the frags starting to encrust the plugs, alot of new groth from the acan, and pluseing xizena

Nice job keeping it clean, looks good dude... When you start to dose, follow their recs but keep in mind that corals and especially coralline uses up a lot of Alk so don't be surprised if you find that you alk isn't moving up quickly or at all...You may need to dose a considerable amount more than the recs to get it to where you want and to keep it stable, titrate it up slowly till you find the right dose.

CA= 400 mg/lt
KH= 5.5 DKH (it was 11 drops from elos test kit)
MG= = 1350 ppm
Temp= ~79.5

IDEAL:
Calcium = 420 ppm
Alkalinity = 9 dKH
Magnesium = 1350 ppm
temp= 78

FOR CAL: to get it to 420
Need: 96.2 ml; 3.2 fl oz; 19.2 tsp

FOR ALK: to get it to 9 dkh
Need: 117.5 ml; 3.9 fl oz; 23.5 tsp

its absolutely amazing!

i am considering one for my biocube 14 gallon also
