Nano tank advice

I would like to start up another nano tank, possibly a 15g or 16g. I know it's possible but is it practical to add a sump to that? If not what would be my best options?

Absolutely! The bigger the sump the better to make up for the low water volume in the tank. I would love to do something like a 2 gallon with a 20 gallon sump!

What would be the best way as far as drilling to add a bulkhead? What size and what would be the best spot?

I have a 29 gallon biocube I drilled in the third chamber on the bottom. I have also drilled on the back wall in the third chamber on another cube. 3/4 Both times very easy to do and makes a huge difference. When I built my sump I wanted it to fit inside the stand so I was limited on how big I could go. I would say that size is your only thing to figure out here, and go with the largest sump possible.

Would 3/4 be to big for a 16g? Do they do 1/2 or 1/4?

I use 1/2 bulk heads for my returns on my biocube. Im not sure what size to use on a 16g. I bet somebody on here does though.
