So I have been running my 40b reef tank since February of this year. Everything has been great have seen significant growth in my corals. I went away on vacation and as a noob mistake I didn’t leave in place a plan B while I was away. Long story short tank crashed due to extremely high temps, I came back from vacation and all my fish are dead along with some torches, and all of my clean up crew. Cleaned everything out, syphoned what I could, put my skimmer on max, did a water change, and have been testing my water and my Mag doesn’t seem to go down. The rest of my corals are fine. I have tested my mag with Hanna and Salifert and both can’t read my levels. Hanna blinks 1800 so from my understanding has to be higher than that and the Salifert starts pink.
I did a 10% water change and it didn’t change.
Can someone help me get this level under control. I attached a pic of the rest of my levels as well.
