Make sure you know if you are dealing with marine depot for warrantee or current.
From my experience there is a 3 in 10 chance you will need it.
Current is very difficult (if not impossible) to get in touch with.

Good morning

I have the 24inch on my 40 stretch hex.

The plus:

Very sleek looking and nice to have the ballast incorporated in the light
The lunar lights are a nice feature.
It fires up on the first try 95% of the time.

The Minus:

Right now the fan is rattling and driving me to distraction.

This is troublesome. I have not experience a MH not firing up on the first try yet (besides burned up the ballast).

What kind of warrenty issue these light normally have?

3 out of 10 ballasts,
Been waiting over 6 months for one

The standard warranty is one year on the unit and 3 months on the bulb.
The firing up issue has only been seen when I have turned off the light and tried to turn it right back on.

It's likely the warranty will expire before we see warranty parts.
