New Christmas present!

Just ordered two new DM-165p+ from reef radiance. I read a lot of great reviews on the base model but can't find anything on the + model. I love how I can control the light wireless from my tablet or smart phone.

Anyone here have any experience with these lights? I currently have a reefbreeder photon 24 on a 4 ft tank which was not enough but was only on loan temporarily.

I have 2 of the it2040 from rr. The smartphone setup came out a month after I got them. Great lights though

The it2040 is similar to the photon isn't it? I love the photon but I was sold with the wireless capabilities

I had these lights briefly! Sorry to say I didn't have a good experience! Nothing went right with this company (Reef Radiance) I was not not happy with the lights and the spread they had also two fixtures wouldn't program to my phone.. It was such a hassle to get an answer or communicate with this guy Rick!! He was offended with my dislike in the lights and became totally rude!!! He forced me to write a bogus statement on many reef sites saying how happy I was with the lights and how he stepped up to the plate and helped me!! What a joke but I had too or would have got stuck with these awful lights!! Needless to say I don't own the 165p+s anymore and thank god!!! I won't get into any more details because it will just frustrate me and I told myself I'd be the bigger

Man.. Research your lights before you buy.. Many of these companies offer lights that you can find on eBay but with a beefed up price.. People might say this guy has great customer service but I got to see the ugly side of things.. Read his fine print on returns and policy.. It caters to them, the will have your lights forever and all you will do is keep paying.. I lost money just to get out of them

Hmm... I've talked to Rick a few times already. I thought his customer service was awesome so far. We will have to see how the customer service is after the sale is complete. I have seen a few post where a few days went by and there was no contact but they all seemed to be happy in the end.
