New fish added - ever seen it?

just picked up a red finned spiny basslet (recently reclassified in scott michaels book)

I saw that up at Aqua Addicts - pretty fish. I thought it was some type of basslet. Did you see all the cool wrasses Mike had in? Nice shipment of stuff this week.

Any info on it? Does it get gigantic? Is it reef safe?

I had one for about a year. It likes to hide in the live rock and
that picture may be one of the few times you see it. I feed it
frozen mysis shrimp. I keep it in a small tank and could find it
by moving the live rock.

If this is a fish that you put in a tank and see once every 3 to six months
that is an accurate description. I have several fish and inverts that fit this description.
Squirrel Fish I saw for 2 seconds every other day when it was feed.
Red Hawaiin Lobster and a pistol shrimp I saw once every two months for about 15 second.
