newbie needs help with plumbing leak

What IS THE most efficient WAY OF GETTING THE WATER OUT OF MY RETURN AND SUPPLY LINES SO I can fix a couple of leaks in lines? I just set up a 125 gal reef ready tank with a sump in the basement.

wet vac, and just suck it out

+1 shop vac plus if you have a basement sump just drain your returns into the sump.

ball valve must b plumbed in
