I was looking at my tank a few weeks ago, and decided that the rockwerk looks like a bag of hammered dog poo.
I have some very nice pieces of live rock, very well encrusted with coralline, so naturally I would like to keep them. I'm planning on removing the rock, and replacing my current support system of PVC with something a bit more stable.
I have a two questions;
1.) I'm going to be using nylon threaded rods for vertical support, but I would also like to use a bit of glue. I don't want to dry the rock prior to glueing, is their a reef safe glue which works on wet (or slightly damp) objects?
2.) I will still be using PVC to keep the rock off of the sand. Any ideas for plugging the holes in the top (the last time I moved, I found a pile of dead hermits when I pulled one out)?
