No More Flatworms

I got lazy a few months back and did not dip a small mushroom colony and ended up with a flatworm problem in my 7 gallon cube
I tried the natural route first buying a Melanurus Wrasse to hopefully take care of them. That was a waste of $50 the wrasse showed no interest in the worms at all
then decided to go carpet surfing and that was the end of that bye bye 50 bucks.
So yesterday I decided to use chemical warfare so a trip to skiptons was in order I picked up a length of 1/8 inch ridged tubing some air line a small media bag and a bottle of flatworm exit.
following the method on Melevsreef I went hunting. after about 4 hours of hunting I was ready to start the treatment. After I isolated the tank from the rest of the system I added 8 drops of Exit and within 2 or 3 minuets the worms started dieing and floating up. Boy that stuff works fast,as soon as that happened I went at the rock and sand with a turkey baster blowing the dead worms out of the crevasses and sand. I then turned on the H.O.T magnum canister filter I had ready loaded with carbon and filtered out the dead worms and to start removing any toxins.I kept up with the turkey baster for a while till I was pretty sure all the dead worms were in the water column so the filter would get them.I let that run for a couple of hours then cleaned the filter and refilled it with fresh carbon did a 25% water change and let it run over night.
This morning I woke up to a sparkling clean tank with no sign of any flatworms and all inhabitants look very happy so after a little rearranging of the rock I opened the valves to put the tank back on the main system.
As per directions I will repeat in 2 or 3 days just to make sure I got them all although B at Skiptons said to do 3 treatments so I will probably do 3
at the end of the day It was actually pretty easy to take care of the key I found is to not be in a rush and make sure you have everything ready to go before you start including extra salt water
But of course if I don't mention this someone else will DIP THE DAMN FRAGS when you get them and you wont have to do this at all.
I am just lucky that this was a relatively easy fix compared to other pest it could have been.
I was hesitant at first to use chemical but there has been no adverse reaction from anything crabs snails coral fish and feather dusters all look good

How big of a system is it attached to when you say you shut it off from the rest of the system? FWIW, if it's a multiple tank system, flatworms usually end up through out the system and not just in one section. I know of people who have told me they had flatworms in one tank that ended up in a basement sump and up to their other tank in the other room.

its not very big its attached to a 30 gallon display and a 20 gallon sump
so far no sign at all in either and I did look good. only time will tell but until i see them I wont treat the other tanks
