Old Metal Halide Bulbs

Can I just toss them in the trash? Or should I bring them to the recycling station?

They should be dropped off at the recycling station and disposed of properly. Light bulbs are considered a hazardous material because of the vapor (Mercury vapor or sodium vapor plus whatever else they put in them to get the proper Par/Color of the bulb) that they have in them can be hazardous to your health if breathed in and to the environment. Same goes for your T5 light bulbs too.

My nearby Lowes has a recycling station. I just dropped off all of my used bulb including my household bulbs there. Many of these bulbs contain mercury. Definitely want to properly dispose them.
