Ooops, spilled b-ionic alk in makeup water

I was testing the saltwater I made so I could do a water change and had to add some b-ionic alk to bring it up from 6.7 dkh and I dropped the bottle in the tub. Now it's unreadable above 16.0 dkh. I'd forgotten how to lower the alk (never had to before), Or do I need to dump it? damn

you can either dilute it, by doing a massive water change, or just dump it and start over.

Yeah, I just added 4 gallons of ro/di and mixed in more salt. I had already drained water out of the tank for a water change and thought I could just dump another chem in for a quick fix. It's better to bite the bullet and do it right. thanks Moe
