I'm hoping this widely distributed aquacultured coral has some known husbandry requirements that we could document together. If anybody has one of these for a while, can you please share your experience?
I have had one for 6 months (from Jeremy at Coral Reef Aquarium) and it more than tripled in size. But now it's growth has mysteriously stopped. It was a go-go grower until a couple months ago and now it has lost its terminal polyps. Overall, it is still vibrant green and still encrusting at the base and nothing wierd is happening with my other corals.
I'm not really looking for a full diagnosis of my tank because most things are still growing, but curious to share experiences with this specific coral. No change in lighting, and Ca, kH, SG, Mg, and Sr are all in normal range - temperature is a steady 79-80. I have 1,000 watts of heaters in 250 gallons, so the temperature didn't change with Winter.
