Hello all,
I am interested in keeping an Orange Spot Filefish in a species-specific 20 gallon tank, and I a looking for the most recent information on care and feeding. I have read some of Matt Pedersen's posts on this site about these fish, but I am unable to access his 2009 Coral Magazine article. I've heard that Masstick is appealing to these fish, along with Nutramar Ova. My local fish store advised blending up Ova or some other seafood and freezing it onto acropora skeletons to offer to these fish. I've also seen a recommendation to mix egg whites with flake food and apply that paste to an Acro skeleton before microwaving the skeleton to make the mixture stick. Does anyone have experience keeping these creatures, and are there any other modern food sources like live copepods that these fish will readily accept?
