I was wondering if anybody had a solution for keeping my black widow out of the Overflow. I tried to research some cage like parts that would protrude off of it, preventing my bw from dangling its tentacles and blocking it. I came home Sunday night to find my ATO had been triggered and dumped the entire Reservoir in my Nano peninsula ( my sensor is in the back of the aio) although I didn't Witness my widow blocking the Overflow, it's the only thing that makes sense. Came home yesterday at lunch time to the same disaster. Luckily it's not on a humongous Reservoir, only a gallon and a half. Also didnt witness her do it. Testing my ato in my sink with a controlled experiment.... buttttttt I feel it's my overly plump anemone.

I've had success with nylon door screen. The holes are too small for tentacles and it doesn't trap any particulates like foam or bonded pads and create the same problem due to debris restricting the flow. You can get it black so it isn't very noticeable. Be sure you're getting nylon and not aluminum that's painted black.
