So I've neglected my tank after adding some peppermint shrimp to help with majanos.. They did great but then ate a big colony of sps I had... Anyways.
Thick coat of brown dinos covering everything in the tank.. Did a lights out for 2 weeks. Water changed. Added carbon in a bag. dosed dkh to 10ppm(a little high) calcium to 448.
I've started dosing p04 to try to get a .02 reading. I know dinos can suck up all the p04.. I'm getting a 0 reading with my Hanna ultra low phosphate test... How aggressively should I dose p04? .. Nitrates are testing around 10ppm.
Started reading about dosing vodka but just getting a little overwhelmed with what to do.
trying to get back to clean stable reef tank.. Any other suggestions...?
