PFO vs Orbitec

Geez has anyone been reading about this?
I can't decide if it'll ultimately blow open the LED market or shut it down.

Interesting... I think the entire patent thing is garbage, though.

I wonder if you can claim that an LED is a "bulb?" Therefore, attaching a dimmer to a particular bulb for the purchase of lighting an aquarium is a bit of a stretch. Should be interesting, but I'm glad PFO is still fighting. Especially, if a fixture appeared in 2003, before the patent.

The problem with these types of law suits is that even if PFO prevails in the end they may be bankrupted with legal fees. This Orbitec looks like a big player and can probably far out last PFO. I think if I were owner of PFO I'd be sitting with every aquarium lighting manufacturer.
