Ponyboy Preggers?

My Seahorses were all purchased as "youngins". The males had no indication of a developed pouch. They then went through the phase of "showing" where they would 'somewhat' inflate their pouches and perform dances with the females. Typically, the inflation of the pouch would subside within hours.

NOW...one of my boys is 'bustin at the seams' and has been for about a week solid. See the picture below. What say thee ye seasoned pony keepers... should I be building my nursery?

Yes, I didnt act qiuck enough and have to catch the little buggers

Ray.. just use a baster or hose to siphon them out. Don't net them. Again, best of luck. You'd better get the phyto/greenwater going, and then rotifers, BBS, etc. etc. There's TONS of information on seahorse.org about success stories. It is labor intensive though.
