Pvc Pipe And Cement?

I just connected a 45 degree pvc pipe to a straight pvc pipe using purple primer and some pv cement, my question is seeing return water will be flowing thru this pipe containing the pvc cement will this hurt my water conditions?? this is a new tank with water in it with live rock and live sand, will this cement have a affect on the live sand and rock and water??? or is it ok to use??

You will be fine, just let it cure for a few hours to a day. Once fully cured it is non toxic. You can rinse it out in the sink or with a hose if you want, that will also get out any PVC shavings that may be in the pipe after cutting it as well so they don't end up in your tank.

Hope this answers your question.

No as long as it is cured before you start running. I have used plumbing parts as little as 3 hours after glueing but I would wait a day if you can.
