Quick SPS question

Rick C

formerly sp1813
So I was very generously given a bunch of SPS frags. Everything has been fine except for when I got home today. I'm thinking my turbo snail knocked a small frag of Hiller's Aqua Delight off the rock and on to the sand. My pistol shrimp then proceeded to bury the frag. I dug it out and 3/4 of the frag was down to bare skeleton. I snipped the dead part off and remounted the frag. My question is, what are the changes of the little guy surviving? It is now only about 1/4". Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pretty good if it stays put up and out of the sand with some decent flow. Also if you see any sliming going on, take a turkey baster and blow it off.

Great that kinda puts me at ease. I feel terrible when stuff dies in my tank. There has been no slimming as of yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the response!
