I started dosing with Tech M to get rid of bryopsis and noticed that my RBTAs tentacles are starting to curl up. Has anyone seen this before?

Nope. Did you add to much magnesium to quickly? My anemones seemed to enjoy the increase of mag.

I tried this method of getting rid of bryopsis recently. It was a huge mistake, all it did was stress my anemone. The tentacles didn't curl but you could clearly see that it was stressed. I'm not fully sure but I'm thinking they reformulated kent tech m, I've read into this method and did a lot of research. After spending money on tech m and waiting waiting waiting I just decided to tear the tank down, nuke all of my rock, throw away the sand, and thoroughly clean the tank. Meanwhile all livestock was in a backup tank for the meantime. I'm glad i went this route. I've got a better reef scape and I'm bryopsis free. I just moved all my livestock back into the display and I'm back on track. If you have any questions please feel free to message me

I did aggressive Lent Tech M dosing without any stress to the large green BTA in one tank or two smaller Rose BTAs in the other tank. You shouldn't raise the Magnesium more than 50-100ppm per day.

I raised my Magnesium from about 1000ppm to 1800ppm over two weeks.

How much did you dose in what size tank?

Agreed. Take your time. I feel my coral do better with more magnesium in the system, but don't over add, there could be negative effects.
