i think i have red worms . can someone fill me in on . what they look like and what bad can they do

well its not me its my friend . he said that there veryvery small hair line worms

The little very thin red ones are most likely commonly called spagetti worms. You see them on the surface of the sand.

Don't worry about them, they eat detritus.
