why you looking to buy one? if so let me know I might be getting rid of my Super Reef Octopus 1000
 
I have an Extreme xs 160. it is a little loud. where it pulls in air, but no louder than my overflow. although I do like the skimmer
 
What's the difference between the xs and non xs versions?
