My return pump just arrived .i want to start hard plumbing it but it came with 1 1/4 fitting . I want to use 1 inch what is the part called I need I will add pics so u can see what I mean

Easiest would be go to home depot or Lowe's and get 1 1/4 to 1" reducing bushing and you are all set. It will fit the existing union
