rimless salt creep

Just set up a 13gal rimless tank. It does have a hood on it. There is salt creep on the glass daily. Is this common with rimless tanks? All my other tank have been rimmed

I dont get any salt creep either on mine. Is there alot of splashing from to much flow directed to the surface?

I will post pics of it tomorrow. I'm starting to it might do to the hood. Moisture collecting and running down.

Check if your powerheads are programmed to run at a higher speed in the night or on an another mode which may be bringing water (waves) right up to the glass edge with a small trickle. . . . been there, done that!

I only get salt creep on my rimless around the skimmer when I forget to empty it and it's overflowing. I also have a canopy...

So this is the pics of the salt creep. What do you think?

Tank info if interested. 13.5gal 1-royal gramma, 1-Blood/fire shrimp, pair of clowns, RBTA, Bi-colored Ric shroom, and some kenya trees

I will give it a try. The powerhead is on the opposite side of the tank.

I’m thinking it’s your mesh. It’s collecting the evap and instead of dripping back into the tank it’s going over the edges of your tank. You should make a screen top like mine. You will be able to keep the look of the rimless but have the security of having the top
