Salt mixing procedure

So my pump failed that mixes my salt and I usually let it run till I change it but it died for over a day can salt water stay standing and still be good? Or does it need circulation? Sorry if its a stupid question better safe than sorry.

I have left mine without a pump for a day or two, and I still used it. I only do 10% water changes, but I don't think that makes a difference.

You don't need to mix after it has dissolved.....you're good to go.

Agreed.
Having the new water circulating is a nice to have.
Plenty of times in the past I have simply mixed the salt until it dissolved, then either did the water change immediately, or let it sit for a while (days) before the change.
