Sand Sifting Starfish

Hello everybody
Ive had a Sand Sfting Starfish for about two weeks now. It's very active, and it seems to be healthy. It roams on a good 2+ inch live sandbed, but i havent fed it anything specific. Does anyone handfeed there starfish and/or what would be good to supplement it with? any info would be appreciated

Just as the name says for them as they sift through your live sand bed and feed as they move through it.

I feed mine half a silverside once a week.. Just in case

Had two in my tank well over a year. Never specifically fed them anything and they keep right on going and growing.....seem very happy and well fed.

I have fed mine nothing in the 2 years I had him....then again I don't see him that often so he must be busy at work!

2 yrs and never fed still working
