Sea World Salem, NH

Although I have visited Sea World about 4 times in the past few months, each time, I get more and more disappointed. Before seeing some of the other local gems (Aquarium Gallery, Jay's) Sea World seemed like a pretty decent place. However, tonight was the last straw. About a month ago I purchased a blue hippo tang and a coral beauty for my boyfriend's mother. Less than two weeks later the entire tank came down with ich. Tonight we stopped in on our way to Jay's to look at live rock. As usual, I always browse the tanks on my way in. In just the first stretch of tanks I found a dead blue niger trigger, a koran angel that had been dead at LEAST two days, a dead blue hippo, another koran with popeye, another dead angel of some sort (i believe it was a flame angel), and I stopped looking there. I mentioned it to the person working there, and he didn't seem at all concerned. Also, in the tank with the dead hippo were about four others.. all of which looked awful. Missing fins, faded coloring, etc. I understand fish die for different reasons, but more than one of those fish were there for longer than a few hours.. more like days. For someone interested in livestock, this was a big turn off.

well rebecca im glad you noticed some of the concerns. thanks for the input. i will keep a watchfull eye for dead and decaying fish, that most likley got caught under a rock then resurfaced. thanks again for your concerns.
