Seabae clown question

APISTOBORELLI

Bass in pic swam away
I have 1 seabae clown now. Do they change sex as other clowns do? If I can find a small one, I want to add another, but don't want to have trouble. After reading all the posts of various clowns laying eggs, I want to try it also. Thanks.

Mark.

All clowns are born male , when put together and they start growing bigger the more aggresive one turns into a female . Fighting is a necessary evil unless you buy a mated pair from the get go . Some females will keep more than one male to mate with , but will kill off the ones she doesn't want around . If you don't want trouble trade in your clown and buy a mated pair . Cost more than doing it yourself but less trouble .HTH John
