Serious question: Nemo and the Anenome

Obviously Nemo is a clown fish. But what kind of Anemone does he live in, in the movie? What's it's name, is it expensive, and is it hard to care for? Sorry if this seems silly but I think my son would really enjoy having his own Nemo at home.

I thought that it was a pretty good animated representation of a Ritteri anemone which would be a natural host for ocelleris and percula clowns.

In terms of captive care, Ritteri anemones are quite difficult to keep. They grow massive (like 3' across), need intense light and strong water motion, they tend to be poor shippers, and often succome to bacterial infections. A few people have been successful with them in captivity, usually in dedicated tanks, but that's the exception not the rule. More often than not they don't make it a year in captivity.

To make your son happy, Ocelleris and Percula clowns will usually take to Bubble tip anemones in captivity (but it can take quite a while), and bubble tips are hardy and easy to care for, for anemones.
